The NourishMed conference is designed as a collaborative cohort experience for physicians serving underserved communities. This agreement outlines shared expectations to help create a respectful, supportive, and meaningful environment for all participants.
Participation
The NourishMed Physician Wellness Conference is a fully funded program designed as a curated cohort experience. Participants are expected to attend the full program from Friday evening through Sunday morning in order to fully engage in the shared learning and community experience.
Participants are asked to make this conference a priority and avoid scheduling conflicts that would require early departure or partial attendance.
Pre- and post-conference surveys may be administered to help improve future conferences and measure program impact.
Program Support
NourishMed provides:
Conference registration
Private lodging for the nights of September 25 and September 26
Meals during the conference
Participants are responsible for travel to and from the conference and incidental personal expenses.
Program Purpose
NourishMed is an educational program designed to support the well-being and professional sustainability of physicians serving underserved communities. The conference includes opportunities for learning, reflection, discussion, and peer connection.
The program is not intended to provide medical care, mental health treatment, or individualized professional counseling.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend, written cancellation notice must be provided by August 1, 2026 to avoid a cancellation fee.
Because participation in the conference is funded and space is limited, participants who cancel after August 1, 2026, or who do not attend the conference, will be responsible for a $500 cancellation fee.
Participants who need to cancel are asked to notify NourishMed as soon as possible so the opportunity may be offered to another physician.
Confidentiality
To support open and honest dialogue, participants agree to respect the confidentiality of personal or professional experiences shared during the conference.
Participants agree not to disclose identifiable stories or sensitive information shared by other participants without that individual’s permission.
Recording of conference sessions or participant discussions (audio, video, photographs, or screenshots) is not permitted without prior consent from NourishMed and all participants involved.
Photography and Media
Photography and video recording may occur during the conference for program documentation and future educational or promotional use by NourishMed. By participating in the conference, attendees grant NourishMed permission to photograph, record, and use images or recordings in which they may appear for these purposes.
Participants who have concerns about appearing in photographs or recordings are encouraged to contact NourishMed in advance.
Personal Responsibility
Participants acknowledge that they are responsible for their own well-being and professional decisions during and after the conference. Participation in program activities is voluntary.
