NourishMed’s Wellness Conference is an immersive experience designed to support the well-being, sustainability, and connection of physicians serving underserved communities.

This conference brings together physicians from diverse practice settings for evidence-based education across Lifestyle Medicine practices, guided reflections, and structured small-group engagement to support meaning, resilience, and connection in the face of the unique challenges of practicing medicine. The experience is intentionally designed to create space for renewal, meaning, and belonging amid the demands of clinical practice.

Conference Curriculum

The conference features interactive sessions and facilitated discussions focused on:

  • Intentional Living & Meaning in Medicine
    Structured reflection to reconnect with purpose, align values with daily practice, and sustain professional fulfillment over time.

  • Lifestyle Medicine Foundations
    Evidence-based strategies in nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and behavior change tailored to the realities of physician life.

  • Sustainable Practice & Work–Life Integration
    Concrete tools for boundary setting, time stewardship, communication, and navigating competing professional and personal demands.

  • Community, Belonging & Peer Connection
    Facilitated small-group engagement that cultivates trust, collegial support, and relationships that extend beyond the conference.

What’s Included

There is no cost to selected participants.

  • Full conference registration

  • Private lodging for the duration of the conference (Friday–Sunday)

  • Meals provided during the conference program

This conference is fully funded for selected participants. Travel to and from the conference and incidental expenses are not included.

Who Should Apply

  • Physicians serving underserved communities (e.g. FQHC, community health centers, rural health clinics, free clinics, other safety-net clinics)

  • Clinicians seeking renewal, sustainability, and peer connection

  • Physicians able to attend the full conference experience

To support depth of engagement, the conference is designed for a cohort of approximately 24 physicians.

Application Process

Space is limited. Physicians are selected through a brief application based on mission alignment. Selected participants will be notified on a rolling basis.
